About Our Practice
We provide integrative, holistic and individualized care both in person at our office in New Paltz, NY and virtually to New York residents.

Our practice model includes providing enough time to talk, manage medications if needed and discuss other health topics which pertain to your well being. Each of the providers have slightly different focus and expertise, so make sure to review their bios for your specific needs.

We are accepting Anthem/Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and Optum/UnitedHealthcare insurances. For patients who pay out of pocket and wish to submit claims to their insurance for reimbursement, we offer a streamlined process through our platform. You can find out more in our FAQs section.

Leinani Margolin,
Nurse Practitioner
Leinani is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's mental health, with a focus on perinatal and postpartum care, fertility, perinatal loss as well as ADHD. She also enjoys working with students over the age of 18, individuals identifying as female, as well as transgender individuals.
Embracing a holistic approach, Leinani strives to provide comprehensive support by integrating traditional psychiatric practices with lifestyle interventions and coping skills.
Leinani's practice philosophy focuses on getting to know her clients as individuals with unique histories and experiences. She utilizes modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) as well as medication management when appropriate.
Leinani holds a certificate in perinatal mental health (PMHP-C) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), where she is an active member. You can learn more about PSI here
Omer Margolin,
Nurse Practitioner
Omer is a nurse practitioner dually certified in psychiatry and family medicine. In his practice, he draws on his experience and training in traditional psychiatry, as well as aspects of general and integrative medicine which are inherently intertwined with mental health.
Omer incorporates modalities which include medication management, therapy integrating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, nutritional counseling, hormone therapy, and digestive care with special attention towards the connection between the gut and the brain (gut-brain axis).
Omer aspires to utilize his diverse experience to match each patient's needs and preference in order to deliver comprehensive and holistic care, addressing both mental and physical well-being.

Omer serves as adjunct faculty at Duke University School of Nursing, his alma mater, in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.

60-90 minutes of comprehensive history taking, goal setting and treatment plan initiation

Tests
We occasionally incorporate tests such as routine blood work, genetic testing, stool analysis and salivary hormone testing. We do not profit from ordering or interpreting those tests, and the fees are determined by the lab which performs them
